Whether it’s a special occasion, birthday, anniversary, work party, Christmas function or corporate meal - when you need somewhere to get a group together, we can offer you the use of a function area and take care of all the details. We will make your event special and one that you will be talking about for years to come.

Areas for hire

At Joe’s Wigram, we can offer you the exclusive use of 3 different spaces to host your event. Please note: the cost to hire the room is fully credited on food and beverage.

The Hanger

  • The Hangar is our small function room at the back of the restaurant
  • Perfect for business meetings, family get togethers or small celebrations
  • 16 people seated, 20 people standing
  • $500 worth of food and beverage (additional food and beverage can be purchased on the day)
  • Full and exclusive use of the room for a maximum of 3 hours ($100 for every additional hour).
  • Use of the 60 inch TV with HDMI input.
  • Ability to play your own music or commentary from the TV
  • Use of 2 large tables seating a maximum of 8 per table or pushed together to seat 16.
  • Remove the tables and it’s perfect for standing functions with drinks and nibbles for up to 25.
  • Ability to decorate the room as you please.
  • A dedicated staff member to cater to your needs.

  • The room can be closed off for privacy

The Bar

  • The bar is great for medium sized events and parties
  • Comfortably seats 30 people seated or up to 55 for standing functions
  • $3750 worth of food and beverage (additional food and beverage can be purchased on the day).
  • Full and exclusive use of the bar from 8pm - 1am - longer hire can be discussed
  • Security guard
  • Ability to set up a full bar tab or subsidise drinks
  • Ability to decorate as you please
  • Duty Manager and staff for the duration of your event
  • A meeting with our catering manager who will put together a menu to suit your budget and requirements
  • A meeting with our events manager to discuss details for your event and finalise your beverage choices and tab
  • Use of all tables and chairs
  • Banquet seating
  • Easy access to the bar
  • Fully stocked bar with premium tap beers and cider, a wide range of NZ and Australian wines, top shelf liquor and liqueurs as well as cocktails, mocktails and non-alcoholic drinks.
  • Post event clean up and pack down.
  • Ability to leave gifts and decorations at the venue for next day pick up

  • For large events and gatherings, you can book out the full restaurant for private use.
  • Seating a max of 90 people or 135 standing
  • $5500 worth of food and beverage (additional food and beverage can be purchased on the day).
  • Full and exclusive use of the full restaurant from 8pm - 1am - longer hire can be discussed
  • Security guard
  • Ability to set up a full bar tab or subsidise drinks
  • Ability to decorate as you please
  • Duty Manager and staff for the duration of your event
